Dear Daughter,
One of the things I promised myself in regards to you was that before you left our home permanently you would have learned to be a capable and competent driver. Now to some degree you haven't been terribly aggressive about your driving education and neither have I. Now I realize one summer we were moving and another you were in Greece and had to go to school early, etc.
I would like you to get at least 100 hours of behind the wheel supervised driving. You can only learn to drive properly and confidently by putting in the time and experiencing different driving situations. One of the most dangerous activities we engage in every day as [insert state name here] is getting in a car and moving across the driving landscape. Its a commonplace activity, but it can be very hazardous if not preceded by supervised experience.
Darling, driving experience is a crucial part of y our life skills. You're reaching a point in your life where your activities [going to grad school, assuming an employment position, going to visit a "significant other"] require you to have driving skills. I think it's time that you need to be a driver and my need for your to be an experienced, safe and competent driver move to the front burner. Driving experience has to move up significantly on your priority list from this writer's perspective. I welcome your thoughts on the matter.
In His Joy,
Dad

FAFSA...
Daughter:
Appreciated you take the time to complete the FAFSA application and to get those university related scholarships done also. Even if chances of getting funds is probably slim, sometimes we have to step out and do our part and sometimes the miracle or the unexpected happens.
I don't think I 've told you lately how proud of you I am. I see great things ahead for you to impact on the success of the Kingdom of God.
In His Joy,
Daddy

Notice:
Dear Daughter,
I obtained an application for [enter scholarship name here] for 2005.
You probably need (I'm sure you already know this) to let them know about the different facets of your activities as resident assistant (no dean in dorm, counseling, house mother, security, safety considerations, freshman orientation, social activity events organization, weekly direct reporting to the dean of students, and other residential life activities and responsibilities).
Notice to you, I sent small $ contributions to the Women's Resource Center in memory of your former boss's mother and to Elder Michael Ashleys's New Beginnings Better Living Center in Moreno Valley.
Love,
Dad
